A delicate and well-balanced cognac from one of the oldest houses in the Cognac. Like all the spirits of Gautier, this VSOP is aged in a watermill of the 18th century, giving it a distinctive flavor profile.

At the 2015 International Wine and Spirits Competition, this VSOP won a Gold Outstanding prize. The tasting notes of the judges were as follows: “Rush of dried fruit on the nose accompanied by lovely floral notes.

Elegant entry into the mouth with fine display of biscuit flavors, rich chocolate and warm spice. Warm flow where fruit is very noticeable as with sweet spice. Good balance and texture. Old leather hints. Burst of hot spice leads to long, well-fruited finish.”
